However The Trackball Works For Win 10, Is Not Great, I'm Sure That Is A M/S Problem, Not Kensington. I'll Wait & See. Uninstalled It From Win 10, It Works Fine Without The Software. Rated 4 out of 5�by tangsoodn Had issue; but was able to repair I only had the Orbit for a couple days until I inadvertently dropped it while carrying my laptop. Fortunately, no damage was noticed; the trackball remained secured in its mount. Unfortunately, when I went to use it, the trackball motion was not smooth, pretty much unusable. I popped the ball out and noticed one of the 3 white balls that the trackball rests on was missing. I pretty much figured it was a write off. There's no way I'd be able to find it. I was extremely disappointed in its short life span and lack of durability. I've dropped other trackballs and was able to keep using them. I checked the Kensington web-site and read some of the other reviews that complained about issues with it and decide I was going to rant too. Even though you can't expect no consequence when dropping things. It happens,- even when trying to be careful. At any rate, I discovered that the missing white ball was still inside, rattling around when shaken. Fortunately, the product is not sealed, as another reviewer stated. It can be dis-assembled, although extreme care must be taken as the small white balls can easily be lost. The case halves actually retain them when assembled. If disassembly is attempted, it is advisable to do such that when the white balls come loose, they won't be lost. I'd suggest doing it in a shallow tray on top of a cloth that would keep the white balls contained if/when they fall out. There are torx screws underneath each of the 3 elongated rubber pads on the bottom. There is also 1 screw under the front side of the circular rubber pad. Once the screws have been removed, the trackball separates into two pieces. Care must be taken to not tear the flex cable that connects the touch scroll wheel assembly to the main board assembly. I found the missing white ball trapped between the circular top circuit board and the plastic case. The ball is very tiny and can easily be lost, In fact we almost lost them several times, before discovering that case halves serves to retain them. I found the best way wo reinstall is by laying the bottom case half flat, and then placing the ball in It's cavity. The top half is then carefully mated with the bottom half. Again extreme care must be taken as the balls can easily get dislodged until the case halves are mated and the screws re-installed and tightened. At any rate I'm much more satisfied, now that it's back in working order. I would rather the scroll pad would allow scrolling in a complete circle and in the same direction as your finger slides around the top, or have that action programmable. March 4, 2016
